The Rainbow Girl
POP! Self-Directed Activity
Date & Time
Tickets & Pricing
The Rainbow Girl is an interactive visual story for young children exploring colours, nature, and the art of rangoli. POP! Self-directed Activities use QR codes in public parks and participants experience the activity at their own pace.
Follow Rainbow Girl and help her find all the colours of the rainbow scattered throughout Holland Park. Watch what happens when she finds a new colour! Collect all the colours of the rainbow to help Rainbow Girl create a beautiful rangoli. Originally from Indian, rangoli is a popular and very colourful art form where patterns are created using materials such as powdered limestone, red ochre, dry rice flour, coloured sand, quartz powder, flower petals, and coloured rocks.
This fun self-paced experience is for kids aged four and up (and big kids who love creative visual arts!) and will take between 35 - 60 minutes to complete depending on how long children and families spend at each stop on the rainbow trail.
