About the Band

Founded in 2010 by two busking virtuosos outside Vancouver's busiest SkyTrain station, Sons of Granville quickly became a staple of the city’s entertainment district and vibrant music culture. In 2011 they added a cajon player to complete the 'classic' trio, and in 2014 released the Imperative Drive LP as a farewell to their busking roots to focus solely on special events. In 2020, they brought on singer-guitarist Nick Gee for select performances to provide a vocal-based, R&B-folk version of their signature acoustic style.
