July 9: Stewardship of Urban Trees

Shade trees are all around. Learn about their benefits and how we can help them, then get your hands dirty renovating a tree well. Learn how to care for trees in parks and near your homes through fun games and activities.
July 24: Stewardship for Wildlife: Birds, Bats and Bugs

Learn about the fascinating wildlife and conservation of nighttime flyers: birds, bats and bugs! Enjoy a guided walk and interactive activities all while learning about the unique roles these creatures have in the ecosystem and efforts to conserve their habitats.
August 6: Stewardship of Native Plants

Learn about the ongoing struggle between native and invasive plants in Surrey parks while removing invasive Himalayan Blackberry. Join us for a walk to learn about invasive species and discover native plants you can grow instead by assembling a small planter to take home.
