She’ll also demonstrate some free tools for DIY building of a video poem and present one of her own video poems.

About the Artist

Leah Murray is a poet, photo-videographer, and digital artist based in Surrey. Her first foray into the arts was moonlighting for her local newspaper: the paycheque was photography training by professionals, developing lab, black-and-white film supplies, and publication. Frequently published since, her career in Information Technology helped develop digital imaging and audio skills, which today augment her poetic and visual practices. She went on to receive a Humber College Honours certificate in Digital Imaging/Internet Development. Her photographic and digital arts have been shown at the White Rock Museum, Surrey Art Gallery, Crescent Beach Popup Gallery, and at Margaret’s Art Studio.
