By Dan Colley and The Riverbank Arts Centre | Dublin, Ireland

For kids 8+ and adults of all ages

In a kitchen, in a theatre, two storytellers and their audience find something remarkable: a very old man with enormous wings! What to do about an angel who has fallen from earth? This thrilling piece of theatrical magic for young audiences is adapted from the short story of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez. Using all the storytelling tools: gripping music, charming puppetry, live video projection and a bunch of belly laughs, this fable leaps to life in all its wonderful weirdness and heartfelt emotion. If you loved our presentation of The Bookbinder in 2019, we’re sure you’ll enjoy The Old Man with Enormous Wings.
