Join us for our annual Youth Speak Up Forum! If you are 13-18, join us at City Hall for a full day of workshops and activities to discuss community topics.

We will amplify your voice and gather information and recommendations on meaningful topics. Surrey Leadership Youth Council (SLYC) youth will then collect data and feedback to create their annual Youth Speak-Up report.

You will receive a certificate for participation. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will also be provided.

Surrey Youth Speak-Up Forum Report 2022

In 2022, Surrey Leadership Youth Council (SLYC) successfully hosted the 14th annual Youth Speak-Up Forum.

The forum had 200 youth participants from various schools throughout Surrey. It consisted of workshops centered around important themes such as Surrey's Transportation Plan, Youth Relationship with Law Enforcement and Difficult Conversations with Parents.

The 2022 Youth Speak-Up report highlights a summary of feedback collected from youth throughout the day. For information about last year’s recommendations, view the Forum Report.
