This National Volunteer Week, thank a volunteer for all they do!

Parks & Recreation

For National Volunteer Week (April 24-30) this year, we acknowledge the patience and appreciate the eagerness and determination of volunteers to resume their role with the City of Surrey. While many volunteer opportunities at the City had been on hold, we celebrate our volunteers’ contributions through their actions, understanding and genuine concern for the community.

Volunteering, putting empathy into action, builds communities. Empathy helps us relate to others and build awareness around different experiences. Together, we build communities where people feel happier, healthier, and more connected. City of Surrey volunteers bring heart to our community.
