Jason Peterson has been setting up light displays for as long as he can remember. What started as a "crazy Christmas collection" with his dad has now transpired into his own holiday tradition that he shares with his family and his community.

Last year the Peterson family had a decent display, but they decided to amp it up and add a-lot of must-see decorations that will be sure to get everyone into the Christmas spirit! Their favourite features at their home? Jason really likes the bath tub Santa. Carlee likes the giant helicopter Santa; and Logan love all of them!

"I never thought I would grow up to be the same as my father, yet here we are. Just seeing the look on not just my son's face, but everyone that passes by, makes it totally worth it. With times being as crazy as they are right now, it’s just nice to see people smiling," says Jason.

"It took me a long time to understand why we were going so overboard. I used to just think it was a lot of work, but as I grew older I began to understand what Christmas was all about. It’s about community and making the holidays feel special for as many people as you can," says Jason.

Despite the current winter weather, the Peterson family successfully set up their holiday lights in just a few weeks - and wore full rain gear through the worst part of the rain storms too. At the end of the day, it was their mission to put a smile on everyone's face when they visit and experience their holiday lights - even on on a cold rainy day.
