City Hall operating hours are weekdays from 8:30am to 4:30pm. For after-hour media requests, email media.requests@surrey.ca. Media requests of an urgent and operational nature will be responded to after hours. All other requests will be actioned the next business day.

The 2023 Metro Vancouver Homeless Count found 1,060 people experiencing homelessness in Surrey.

From October 5 to November 18, parents and caregivers can attend the free, two-hour, in-person workshops to learn how to recognize and respond to warning signs for gang involvement, minimize the chance of gang recruitment and build stronger relationships with their children.

Play On! Canada is host to the country’s largest street hockey tournaments, offering community members an action-packed weekend filled with fun, competition and community spirit.

Funds received through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund (CAPF) for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons

City staff will collaborate with community members to plant over 500 native trees and shrubs.

The City of Surrey, in collaboration with diverse cultural organizations and artists, is showcasing three weeks of free arts and culture-related activities as part of the national Culture Days celebration happening from September 22 to October 15.

Projects eligible for funding will focus on contributing to capital projects that create, renovate or maintain housing stock, programs that increase the access to housing, reduce and prevent homelessness, and initiatives that build capacity in the homelessness and housing sector in Surrey.

This award showcases the festival’s importance internationally, as well as its longstanding commitment to reconciliation, diversity, inclusion, social equity, and anti-racism.

Applications are now open for vendors, non-profits, exhibitors, sponsors, and performers.

Celebrate the richness of arts and culture with a free family-focused, all-ages event coming to Clayton Community Centre on September 23 from 1-5pm.
