The virtual event will also kick off the Surrey Love Where You Live initiative encouraging residents to take part in neighbourhood cleanups and other activities to help keep Surrey city clean and beautiful.

"We are very proud to be celebrating Party for the Planet’s 10th anniversary tonight," said Councillor Allison Patton, "Staff have been working hard across the City to create a show that educates residents on Surrey’s environmental programs and services, and empowers all of us to be more sustainable. We hope you’ll join us."

Party for Planet will also mark the launch of another Surrey Tree Sale. Held from April 23 to May 8, the sale will offer discounted $20 trees, which can be paid online through the City’s MySurrey account and later picked up at the Surrey Operations Centre.
