Park information
Cottonwood Park was dedicated to the City in 1987 as part of a residential development in the neighbourhood. It provides valuable green space to the area. Over the years, the park has expanded to protect portions of an adjacent creek. The park is mostly a natural area, but there is a hidden neighbourhood picnic spot accessed from 78 Avenue, just west of 161A Street.
