Park Play staff at Redwood Park

Find out where and when to enjoy free park-based family activities at different parks this summer.

Park Play has provided free park-based activities to children and youth in Surrey’s Parks since 2006. This summer, Park Play is offering a variety of self-directed park activities and staff-led group games for you and your family to enjoy!

Find our tent in the park, and let us know which of our self-directed kits you are interested in borrowing or if there is a group game you would like to join. We can give you activity ideas, provide instructions, and answer any questions you might have.

Schedule

Park Play runs from July 4 to August 26.

A Park Play Kit is a bucket of sports and play equipment that you can borrow to play with your family or friends during your visit to the park. Each Park Play Kit includes a variety of items such as balls, skipping ropes, catchers, and more! Park Play Kit equipment is provided by LIVE 5201.

If you are looking to learn some new games to play with the items in your kit, be sure to join a group game hosted by our Park Play staff!

Park games such as bocce and Spike Ball will be available to borrow. These are fun passive and active games to play with your family and friends. Ask us which games are available at your park!
