Getting Here

There are lots of great transportation options to get you to Party for the Planet. Using different modes of transportation can save money, improve your health, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions! And what better way to celebrate Earth Day than to travel green?

Here are just some of the ways to get to the festival:

The Surrey Central SkyTrain station is right next to the site of Surrey’s Party for the Planet, with Expo Line trains running approximately every 6 minutes or less to and from New Westminster, Burnaby, and Vancouver throughout the day.

Did you know that the Surrey Central Transit exchange has the highest number of bus routes connecting any transit exchange in Metro Vancouver? Use Translink’s trip planner to see how you can travel to Party for the Planet by bus or Skytrain (use Surrey Central Station as your destination.)

Get a map of the exchange and buses connecting to Surrey Central Station.

Cycling route options include bike lanes, shared traffic lanes, and off-street pathways such as Greenways. Check out the City of Surrey’s updated Bike Map. If you’re travelling from outside Surrey, take a look at TransLink’s Regional Bike Maps.

Ride your bike to the event and The Bicycle Valet will hook you up with FREE, safe bicycle parking- valet style of course! They'll be located by the library on University Drive. Check the fesitval site map for more details.
