Surrey Tree Lighting Festival encourages support toward local non-profit organizations, through donations to the Surrey Christmas Bureau, Surrey Food Bank, Sophie’s Place and the Surrey Fire Fighter’s Charitable Society.
The Surrey Food Bank
As a non-profit, charitable organization, the Surrey Food Bank operates because of donations of money and food. These donations come from individuals, organizations and corporations. We also benefit from various fundraising efforts, such as our Breakfast with the Bank and from third party events run by other organizations. The Surrey Food Bank has been serving the community for 37 years, helping vulnerable children and families during the holidays. To donate, visit www.surreyfoodbank.org/donate.
Sophie's Place & The Centre for Child Development
The Centre for Child Development has been helping children with special needs reach their potential. Through the decades, Sophie's Place has grown to a team of over 160 staff with expertise in providing a wide range of collaborative therapeutic services to more than 3,200 children each year. The Surrey Firefighters Charitable Society
