Current Exhibit: Witness Blanket
This exhibit is a reproduction of a powerful art installation by master carver Carey Newman and is circulated by the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Inspired by a woven blanket, this cedar‐framed artwork is made of hundreds of items from residential schools, Survivors, churches, governments, and other cultural sites across Canada. Each item tells a story of loss, strength, resilience, and pride.
