Jay Gavin has been active in the local alt country Americana scene for six years. Jay has extensively toured North America playing bass with Texas legends Speedealer, local Delta rockers Grass City and BC punkers Huskavarna (Spawner Records) before coming to his own as a energetic, confident country/folk singer songwriter. Jay released his first ep (Spirits) as a singer songwriter in 2016 with a follow up full length in 2018 (Boat on a Whale). The future was looking bright with tours in Canada and shows in Nashville for 2020 but the pandemic has put a hold on things and Jay is chomping at the bit to get back at it. With a full length album scheduled for 2022 and five new singles ready to release, Jay is ready for the new world.
Jason Quartets is a fusion band with Korean instrumentals. We play fusion jazz, blues and experimental music. Club Music Vancou is a community of Korean musicians created in 2019. Amateur and professional musicians of various genres gather to network and perform in the community. Currently, six bands are active, and the genres include pop, blues & soul, jazz, funk, rock, fusion gugak (traditional Korean music), and experimental music.
From his early life as the son of a PEI fisherman, growing up surrounded by pickers & singers to his years touring North America in punk & metal bands, Jay Gavin has come full circle and returned to his roots in country, folk & bluegrass. With two albums Spirits 2017 and Boat on a Whale 2019 under his belt, Jay is well known for his natural authenticity, his often-humorous, twangy, foot-stompin' songs featuring traditional instruments and his rollicking, good timin' live shows. Jay has kept busy throughout the pandemic playing local shows and releasing videos for original honkytonk styled Lost in Austin, Conway & Loretta cover, You’re the Reason our Kids are Ugly and releasing single Beautiful Shame, a duet with his cousin, Shyanne Mae G.

As a guitarist, singer, improviser, and songwriter, Jeremy Stewart has been performing for over 20 years. He has toured Canada and shared stages or collaborated with artists like Geoff Berner, Wax Mannequin, Raghu Lokanathan, Joey Only, and many others. Stewart was the touring lead guitarist for Lheidli T'enneh Elder and Juno-nominated songwriter Marcel Gagnon. Formerly a fixture of the northern BC folk festival circuit, Stewart now makes his home in South Surrey.
