We are Julio Avila Cuban Band located here in Vancouver. We have been active since the beginning of 2022. The band is composed of seven members, mostly Cubans, and we play traditional and authentic Cuban music (salsa, son, timba) that is loved by the dancing and non-dancing crowds of BC. After only a few months in existence, we performed in a few of the biggest festivals last year such as the Harmony Arts Festival in West Vancouver, Surrey Fusion Festival, Kamloops Caribbean Festival, and Coquitlam Caribbean Days Festival. We were also featured in the Global News BC segment of This is BC by Jay Durant. We look forward to hearing from you!
