Description:

Request for Quotations

SCOPE OF WORK

The City invites Quotations from experienced and qualified pre-fabrication building Contractors for all skilled labour, tools, materials and equipment for the fabrication, furnishing and installation of two (2) Park Washroom Units (PWU) in 2019, with a possibility of extending the program involving an additional four (4) units for a total of six, delivered two per year in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

The design team has developed a design and a pilot project was completed at Maple Green Park in 2019 confirming the PWU concept meets the City’s goals. The drawings and specifications from the pilot project will serve as the basis for the RFQ as future sites are still to be determined. Included in the drawings is the site work for the project which will be handled by the City and is only provided for reference. The site work includes the foundation, mechanical, electrical and plumbing site services to the utility box under the unit, and any associated landscaping.
