Request for Proposals

PURPOSE          

The City of Surrey (the “City”) invites qualified and professional property management firms to provide rental property management services for the various City properties (the “Manager”), as listed in Schedule A-1 – Properties.

The Manager should have the following attributes:

  • Professionalism;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Excellent Customer Service; and
  • Previous experience.

Before beginning any of the following scope of Services, the Manager shall meet with the City’s Realty Asset Manager to verify project requirements, available background information, schedule, budget constraints, payment procedures and any other property issues.

The Manager is expected to enter into a House Rental Property Management Agreement.  Refer to Schedule B.

Addenda
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”) that will form part of this RFP.  No amendment of any kind to the RFP is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum on the City Website.  Upon submitting a Proposal, Proponents will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are posted on the City Website.
