Request for Quotations

PURPOSE

The City of Surrey (the “City”) invites contractors to provide a quotation on the form attached as Schedule C (the “Quotation”) for the supply of the goods (if any) and services described in Schedule A (the “Work”).

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of chiller replacement for Surrey Museum, located at 17710 - 56A Avenue, Surrey, BC., Surrey, British Columbia (the “Place of Work”) in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.

INFORMATION MEETING

At the time of issuance of this RFQ a meeting has been scheduled as follows:

Time: 9:30 a.m. Local time

Additional Site Visit will be hosted as follows - *per Addendum No.1:

Date: Tuesday, June 22, 2021
Time: 2:30 p.m. Local time

In order to facilitate proper social distancing, the City has decided to conduct multiple smaller walk-throughs. Depending on numbers attending, Contractors should anticipate a wait time to allow for this. The City prefers one (1) representative from each company. The Contractor should complete and submit an Enhanced Screening for Contractors Form and bring them on the day of the Information Meeting.

Note: No minutes of the information meeting and site tour will be provided.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form a part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
