District Energy System (Phase 8)

INVITATION TO TENDERERS

The Owner invites tenders for:

Supply & install district energy systems including in-building pre-insulated steel pipes, leak detection systems, communication conduit, testing, and other related works.

The contract is located for the following sites:

Site 5 (E-19080): Bosa Brightside Tower 1 development. Approximately 400m trench installation of 150mm and 250mm dia. piping.
Site 6 (E-19225): Grand development. Approximately 560m trench installation of 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm dia. piping.

This tender is being issued electronically through the BC Bid website (www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca) where any interested party may download the tender documents directly from the BC Bid website. No registration, tracking or other recording of tender document holders will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, or further information will be published through the BC Bid website. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the BC Bid website regularly to check for updates.

The Contract is based on the MMCD Platinum Edition and the City’s Supplementary MMCD (April, 2020)

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with “Tenders for Contract 5522-001-31 District Energy System (Phase 8)” and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3T 1V8. Note the City has resumed opening tenders publicly at Surrey City Hall. Tenderers are welcome to join the tender openings.
