INVITATION TO TENDERERS

The Owner invites tenders for:

Construction of approximately 1475m of 150mm - 450mm dia watermains including service connection and fire hydrant replacements, and all related appurtenances at the following locations:
· Site 1: on Fraser Highway between 149th Street & 150th Street
· Site 2: on Fraser Highway between 88th Avenue & 156th Street
· Site 3: on Fraser Highway and 168th Street
· Site 4: on Fraser Highway between 19300 Block & 196th Street
· Site 5: on 108th Avenue between 140th Street & 142nd Street
· Site 6: on 108th Avenue between 144th Street & 148th Street

This tender is being issued electronically through the BC Bid website (www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca) where any interested party may download the tender documents directly from the BC Bid website. No registration, tracking or other recording of tender document holders will be performed by the Owner. All addenda, or further information will be published through the BC Bid website. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to monitor the BC Bid website regularly to check for updates.

The Contract is based on the MMCD Platinum Edition and the City’s Supplementary MMCD (April, 2020)

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed package, marked on the outside with “Tenders for Contract No. 1222-001-21 Fraser Highway & 108 Avenue Watermain Improvements” and must be received at the first floor Main Reception/Information Desk, Surrey City Hall, 13450-104 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3T 1V8. Note the City has resumed opening tenders publicly at Surrey City Hall. Tenders are welcome to join the tender openings.
