Rethink Waste School Education Workshops

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Provision of developing, designing, producing, and delivering a range of materials and products for an instructionally comprehensive Rethink Waste Education program for elementary students, high school students, English Language Learners (ELL), and webinars for the general public.

The Consultant will:
• develop new program content;
• develop new program materials and resources;
• deliver workshops and webinars;
• provide suitable materials and resources for adults whose first language is not English;
• undertake the program’s marketing to Surrey schools; and
• be responsible for the program’s administration and scheduling.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

The objective of this project is to develop and deliver age appropriate, interactive and informative programs for elementary and secondary schools in Surrey. The program should engage students on issues related to waste creation and disposal, and promote waste minimization concepts that students can transfer into their home, school and everyday life. It is anticipated that the program will align with and support related sustainability initiatives implemented by Surrey schools.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFP. It is the responsibility of Proponents to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFP may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFP or may be relied upon by any Proponent. By delivery of a Proposal the Proponent is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFP, including any and all addenda.
