Riparian Watering Services

REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

PURPOSE

The Contractor is to supply and deliver to the City everything required including all skilled labour, plant, tools, materials, equipment necessary to carry out designated work associated with vegetation maintenance, watering plant stock in riparian areas. Specifically, the work will include season-long watering of City-wide sites as directed by the City.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Contractor will provide an annual work program for the sites listed in Schedule A-1 and A-2 at the commencement of the Term. The Contractor will be required to develop a calendar of work to be scheduled throughout the Term.

The Services must be done in accordance with:
(a) British Columbia Landscape and Nursery Association Standards;
(b) Riparian Ecosystems;and
(c) Individual site prescriptions developed annually by the City’s contracted
environmental consultant overseeing riparian areas maintenance programs (if
applicable).

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
