REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES


The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labour, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to supply and deliver the Good(s) and any spare parts and performance of the Services in accordance with this RFQ.

1. Manufacture/assembly and testing of the Model 352i traffic signal cabinet supplied with an anodized finish, shall comply fully with ATC 5301 v02.02, (Advanced Transportation Controller [“ATC”]), published on March 18, 2019, or the most recent version, with the following exceptions or additions:

a. Voltage - The Model 352i traffic signal cabinet shall be the High Voltage (HV) version, capable of operation on traditional 120 VAC service voltage to control 120 VAC low power (non-incandescent) signal heads.

b. Input Assembly (IA) – 48ch IA shall include:
i. (1) Single 3U 48 channel input rack
ii. (2) SIU Model 2218
iii. (12) 4 channel detectors (Model EDI LMD624H).

c. Field Input Termination Assembly (FITA)- 48ch FITA shall include:
i. 48 Channel Termination Assembly
ii. (24) 10-postion phoenix contact terminal block and sockets.

d. Output Assembly (OA) – 16-channel output assembly rack shall include:
i. (1) SIU Model 2218
ii. (8) Model 2202 HV High Density Switch Pack/Flasher Unit (HDSP/FU),
iii. Stop Time Switch, Flash / Auto Switch, four 5A Circuit Breakers and Momentary 24 Vdc Bypass button.
iv. 48VDC Main contactor. The main contactor shall not be installed externally where accidental touch can occur.

e. Field Output Termination Assembly (FOTA) – 16ch FOTA shall include:
i. 16 Channel Termination Assembly
ii. (16) 6 Position, Colour-coded (RR-YY-GG), push in style phoenix connector
iii. (8) HESCO, #HE103C-9 Suppressors.

f. Cabinet Monitor Unit – (1) 2212-HV CMU: 32 channel capability with Ethernet for 120 VAC cabinets, complete with EDI Auxiliary Display Unit (ADU) Model ADU-2220.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
