Theatre LED Lighting Study
Schick Shiner and Associates
Revised October 8, 2020
Request for Proposals
The objective of the study is to identify all advantages and/or disadvantages of undertaking a conversion to LED lighting. The report should present the information in a manner that is clear and free of technical jargon wherever possible. Tables, graphs and any other supporting documentation should be organized to show the impact of individual items (i.e. lamp replacement savings, heat load savings, lamp load savings etc.) with a summary combining all items. When costs are assessed pricing should be derived from current professional quality components manufactured by companies known for industry acceptance and reliability. There is no need to identify which equipment is most appropriate to replace existing equipment but specific examples may be cited to support an evaluation or for using specifications in calculations.
