Celebrate the beauty of our City at Party for the Planet, BC’s largest Earth Day Celebration. Party for the Planet focuses on inspiring awareness for Canada’s natural environment and includes a new Live Green World featuring environmental workshops, a sustainable marketplace, acoustic concert series and vendors. The event offers a variety of free, engaging and educational activities for all ages.

Surrey International Children's Festival

The Surrey International Children’s Festival presents a vibrant arts and cultural experience that reflects our rich and diverse cultural heritage. We promote the arts as an integral part of a child's education.

Every year, we showcase seven new featured performances by artists from across Canada and around the world on the Festival's four performance theatres inside the Surrey Arts Centre and in Bear Creek Park. Come and celebrate our local professional and emerging artists on the Community Spirit Stage and explore the lively mix of activities throughout the site.

Surrey Fusion Festival is the ultimate celebration of food, music and culture! Experience the world in one weekend at over 50 pavilions selling authentic cuisine and showcasing cultural goods. The festival features local and international talent across five stages, where they perform traditional and modern cultural dance across, songs and various other forms of entertainment. Stop by the Cooking Stage to learn how to make cultural cuisine, visit the Indigenous Zone to learn about Indigenous culture and stop by the Kid's Zone with the little ones.

 

Surrey Tree Lighting Festival

Surrey Tree Lighting Festival

Kick off the holiday season in Surrey at this free family event. Join Mayor and Council along with Frosty and Santa as they flip the switch to light the City’s official Christmas tree. Check out the free concerts, food, light displays and fun activities all day long.

The event features an expanded Holiday Market showcasing goods from local vendors. Be sure to stop by the Holiday Fun Zone on University Drive. Activities include free amusement rides, road hockey and a DJ! The 60-foot Christmas tree will light the plaza at 6:30pm.
