Environmental Extravaganza
Get outside this spring with a wide range of free environmental programs and events!

Surrey’s Environmental Extravaganza is a long-running series of free environmental programs that run from April to June each year, hosted in collaboration with our community partners.
This year’s Environmental Extravaganza is April 19 to June 8, 2025. We are gearing up for a fun-filled spring with lots of opportunities for you to get outside and explore nature!
Visit this page in early April for a complete list of programs and events. Until then, discover how you can connect with nature all year-round.

Wait until you see the program line up for this year!

Check out their environmental contributions in Surrey and learn how you can get involved.
Surrey is situated on the unceded traditional and ancestral lands of the Salish Peoples, including the Katzie, Kwantlen and Semiahmoo Nations. We recognize them as stewards of this land since time immemorial—they walked these lands first and continue to care for them today.
In hosting the Environmental Extravaganza, we are honoured to be able to offer a variety of opportunities for people to care for and connect with these special places. We acknowledge our responsibility to further our work in reconciliation and hope you will continue to learn alongside us.
