Stop by Cloverdale's Greenaway Park, and have a match of tennis on the courts, a swim in the pool, or a walk along the walking paths.
City parks are open for casual use. Please follow all posted signage and keep your guard up to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Stay home when sick, stay 2 metres apart, and consider wearing a mask in crowded places.
Dawn until dusk
Greenaway Park is located in a historic part of Cloverdale, east of the Fraser Downs Racetrack. The park is located on the slope of a ridge, offering great views over Fraser Downs and the Cloverdale Rodeo Ground. The park can be accessed from 60 Avenue, where you will also find a parking lot.
The park is home to Greenaway Outdoor Pool, a playground, and a couple of pickleball courts. A pathway leads from the pool, northeast into the park and through to Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School.
Greenaway Park dates back to 1937, when the land was acquired by the City.
