My name is Matt Hermano. The way I like to describe my music is a mix of Bruno Mars, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran. My influence for my music comes from the 70s Motown era and early 2000s pop. I have played guitar since I was thirteeen and have been singing and songwriting since the age of sixteen. I represented Canada in a world competition of performing arts in California, winning silver in the three categories of pop, songwriting and R&B. I have only started to take music seriously as a career in the year of 2023.

Our band is called Max Eleven. We are a trio that plays music from the 50s right up to the 90s. We do a mix of some country, rock and soft rock. We have been playing together for six years, including playing at the Whalley Legion for over 2 and a half years. Since the beginning of this year, we have played the Kennedy Senior's Center in Delta as well as the Newton Senior's Centre in Surrey. We have also been asked to play at the Fleetwood Center. We played last New Year's Eve at the New West Legion as well as many other private parties. Our goal is to put smiles on people's faces and get them up on the dance floor.

Shauna’s voice has been shaped by singing along to soulful queens like Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Celine Dion. Mivule Logo
Active since 2019, Mivule is a four piece multicultural band incorporating the sounds of Reggae, Afrobeat and Dub, with lyrics in English and various African languages. The band's songs draw heavily on the experiences of Brian, the lead singer and South Sudanese refugee. The name “Mivule” is derived from the Mivule Tree, which is a type of teak wood tree found in Uganda. The tree is a place where the village meets to settle disputes. Mivule represents a collaborative process of making peace.
