REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

The Contractor, to the satisfaction of the City, shall furnish all necessary labour, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary for the supply and delivery of pumps to Surrey Operations Centre (6651 148 Street, Surrey) (the “Goods”), and any additional work reasonably required to be done for the fulfillment and completion of this Agreement, including installation services (the “Services”) at North Bluff Pump Station (1577 161 Street, Surrey).

If required, the Contractor shall decommission the existing guide rail system and install new guide rail system at North Bluff Pump Station.

The North Bluff Pump Station (see Schedule A-2 – Pump Station Drawings) operates on a shared forcemain with the Semiahmoo Pump Station. When the stations are operating independently, the pump station should operate at lower head and higher capacities. In the event that the stations are operating at the same time, a higher operating head and lower capacities may be required. The current pumps being used are 128 hp Fairbanks Morse solids handling submersible pump (5-DJJ436 MT).
