Interested in working as an ambassador for Surrey's natural areas and environments? The City of Surrey is proud to work with a number of co-op students throughout many of our departments.

The Salmon Habitat Restoration Program (SHaRP) and Surrey's Natural Areas Partnership (SNAP) are youth environmental programs devoted to the restoration of natural areas in Surrey and the promotion of environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Each program employs post-secondary and high school students throughout the summer months. SHaRP focuses on aquatic areas and enhancing salmon habitat, while SNAP focuses on restoring natural areas in parks.
