Surrey, BC– As the leaves change for the fall season, Historic Stewart Farm is prepping for the return of the Olde Harvest Fair on Saturday, September 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The popular family-friendly event, which was put on pause the past two years due to the pandemic, is set to make a comeback in 2022 with a celebration of local history, food, shopping, and lively entertainment.

“We are so pleased to welcome the public back to this annual event. There is a great mix of things to do, see and learn in a beautiful and unique setting right here in Surrey,” said site curator Jerrilin Spence.

Soak up some seasonal old-fashioned fun with harvest-themed games and activities, like potato sack races and tug-o-war, a fall-themed children’s craft-making station, and apple cider and butter-making demonstrations.

Visitors will be treated to live performances by Surrey’s award-winning heritage re-enactment troupe the Re-enactors, the Vancouver Fiddle Club, Vancouver Morris Men, Tiddley Cove Morris, and Little Mountain Step ‘n’ Clog.

A vendor’s market will feature a variety of local makers and artisans, including Crème Brulee to Go, Semiahmoo Potters Society, The Witch’s Cottage, and Bannock Queen Bakery, just to name a few.

Pack a picnic to enjoy on the picturesque grounds or visit the Little Devils Wood Fire Pizza food truck on site.

Historic Stewart Farm, open Tuesday to Sunday, 12-4:30 p.m., is located at 13723 Crescent Road in South Surrey. Additional parking is located in the West parking lot of Elgin Heritage Park.
