Surrey, BC – The City of Surrey is proud to host Swimming Canada’s Ken Demchuck International Swim Meet at Guildford Recreation Centre from December 1 to 3, 2023.   

This para-swimming event will draw international attention to Surrey, bringing approximately 150 paralympic swimmers from across the country and around the world.  

“The City of Surrey is committed to being a leader in major sporting events and accessibility,” said Mayor Brenda Locke. “Sports are an example of how to bring people of all abilities together, which is why we continuously strive to ensure our public facilities are equipped with the latest features so everyone can participate. I look forward to seeing the best paralympic swimmers compete in the Ken Demchuck International Swim Meet.”

Patrons are encouraged to watch the three-day competition at Guildford Recreation Centre. Tickets are not required, and entry is free. For more information, visit Swimming Canada’s website.
