City Hall operating hours are weekdays from 8:30am to 4:30pm. For after-hour media requests, email media.requests@surrey.ca. Media requests of an urgent and operational nature will be responded to after hours. All other requests will be actioned the next business day.

Surrey Council has voted to declare the state of school infrastructure a crisis that is impacting the delivery of education that children need and deserve.

The City of Surrey has launched a Digital Technology Hub, a free online platform that offers resources to help older adults navigate the digital world and make it easier to connect to services, programs, and people.

Just in time for the warm and sunny weather, City of Surrey’s spray parks have begun opening and residents will soon be able to enjoy a free swim at an outdoor pool.

This spring the City of Surrey and its partners will launch the Surrey Youth Resiliency Program (SYRP), introducing eight new projects led by eight community organizations.

The event was organized to celebrate the importance of trees and their contribution to the environment, as well as to beautify the park and enhance its ecological value.

The historic venue, which hosts the second largest rodeo in Canada, will soon be more accessible thanks to a $1 million investment from the Province of British Columbia under the Destination Development Fund.

The award recognizes outstanding design and development of park spaces using natural elements or repurposing materials.

Attendees gathered at the Surrey Arts Centre to celebrate 35 nominees in six award categories.

Demand for development is high in Surrey and improvements in the City’s development approval processes are continuing to provide significant positive impact on overall community access to housing.
