Dawn until Dusk
Orchard Grove Park is one of the newest parks in the City. It is located in the fast-growing Grandview Heights neighbourhood and is a great place to play, recreate and sit in the shade of the Douglas Fir trees. The park has a playground, paved pathways, two orchards and natural areas with mature trees.
Orchard Grove Park Development
Parks staff presented general park information for Orchard Grove Park at Open House 1 on November 30, 2017. Based on the feedback received, two design concept plans and park information was presented at the Engineering Open House for the widening of 24 Avenue held on February 20, 2018. Community feedback and internal staff favoured concept plan option 1, locating the playground and gathering area in the open area in the north-east corner.
