Dawn until Dusk
Bob Rutledge Park is a 2.8 hectare (7 acre) park located within the South Panorama Ridge neighbourhood of South Newton. The park dates back to 1956 when an initial parcel of land was acquired by the City. In 2000, the park was named Bob Rutledge Park, after a long-time community volunteer who had previously owned land that makes up a portion of the park.
At the south end of the park you'll find a small playground, tennis courts, a half basketball court and lots of open green space. In the north you'll find a number of great walking trails that lead through a forested area.
The park is accessible from 148 Street, where you will find on-street parking.
Construction of the new play area was completed August 2021.
