Indo-Fijian History in BC
May 9 | 6:30-7:30pm via Microsoft Teams

Explore the unique history of the Indo-Fijian diaspora in BC, including the significance of Girmitiya Day, through this virtual talk with Rizwaan Abbas of the Indo-Fijian Cultural Society.

2SLGBTQ+ Voices
June 6 | 6:30-7:30pm via Microsoft Teams

Explore the importance of 2SLGBTQ+ voices in Surrey's narrative. Guest speaker Dr. Jennifer Marchbank of Surrey Pride Society will discuss oral history projects and other initiatives that highlight untold histories.
