About Unwin Park

Unwin Park is a large community park with tons of fun things to do!  With an area of over 14.5 hectares (36 acres) you'll find something for the whole family:

  • baseball diamonds
  • batting cage
  • cricket fields
  • soccer fields
  • lacrosse boxes
  • a basketball court
  • 3 picnic shelters

The larger fields tend to get busy in the summer, so be sure to book a field if you have a team sporting event.

You'll find an outdoor pool, a new water park, and a playground for the kids.  Parking is available from 68 Avenue, just east of 132 Street.

Jumpstart Inclusive Playground

The Jumpstart Playground is officially open!

In partnership with Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, the City of Surrey and Jumpstart have built a universally accessible playground in the park. This is part of the Charity's 'Play Finds A Way' movement, which focuses on removing accessibility barriers to sport and play.

The new 12,000 square foot playground replaces the existing park playground and includes accessible features such as the We-Go-Round, Sway Fun Glider, Friendship Swing and slides with transfer platforms, all connected by a double wide accessible ramp system.
