About the films
The Scarecrow is a 1920 American two-reel silent film comedy starring Buster Keaton. Buster plays a farmhand who competes with his housemate to win the love of the farmer's daughter.
The Doll (German for Die Puppe) is a German romantic fantasy comedy. In the film, the character Lancelot is pressured by his Baron uncle to marry. But Lancelot is afraid of women! He decides to fool his uncle by marrying a life-like mechanical doll instead.
