108A Greenbelt on Campbell Heights Bluff
108A Greenbelt on Campbell Heights Bluff is in the planning phase and not yet open to the public.
In Park Planning Phase
108A Greenbelt is a new natural area park in South Surrey adjacent to the Campbell Heights Local Area Plan. This 82 hectare (203 acre) future park includes forest, creeks, wetlands and fields. It is envisioned that this park will be designated as a biodiversity preserve for the primary purpose of habitat conservation.
A management plan is being developed to guide the protection, design, development and operation of the park. This project is currently in the planning phase, with public engagement happening in fall 2020.
Part of the planning process will include the selection of a name for the Biodiversity Preserve.
From September to October 2020, residents were invited to take part in an online survey to help guide the planning stage of the biodiversity preserve in Campbell Heights. The information we gathered will help us start developing a vision for the future of this park.
