Dawn until Dusk
Hjorth Road Park is a 7 hectare (19 acre) park in Guildford with multiple amenities to enjoy, including two artificial turf fields, four softball diamonds, grass soccer fields, a playground and an outdoor pool.
n the summer, the larger fields tend to get busy, so be sure to book a field if you have a formal team practice or game.
There are two parking lots serving Hjorth Road Park; one in the west from 146 Street and another in the east from 148 Street.
The artificial turf on field #1 was resurfaced in August 2021.
Hjorth Road Park was named after historic Hjorth Road (now 104 Avenue), which took its name from Hans Christian Hjorth, a Norwegian fishermen who settled in the area in 1885. The land for the first portions of the park was acquired by the City in 1980, but the majority of the park was not established until the late 80s.
