The Surrey Fire Service takes a proactive approach to address specific hazards that may exist through Fire Safety and Construction Fire Safety Plan reviews and approvals. We strive to reduce risk by working with Fire Safety Planning companies to ensure that all Fire Safety and Construction Fire Safety Plans meet BC Fire Code Requirements and Surrey Fire Services operational needs.
If you are an approved Fire Safety Plan company, you can submit your Fire Safety Plan for review online.
If you are not an approved Fire Safety Plan Company, email email@example.com and someone will contact you regarding your submission. For any questions, call 604-543-6780.
If you are designing a Fire Safety Plan for a high rise (more than 6 stories), contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 604-543-6780 for instructions on evacuation procedures and signage.

Templates and Symbols
All Fire Safety Plan submissions for Surrey buildings must include the approved Vital Building Information Sheet and Site Plan Symbols.
Supervisory Staff must be trained in fire emergency procedures described in the fire safety plan before they are given any responsibility for the fire safety.
