Visual art

A big studio for big ideas. A space for skill-building and bringing projects to life. This studio is actually two classrooms joined together. It can host regular courses, such as painting, drawing, and print making. It can also transform into a single space for large projects.

Think of massive parade puppets operated by a team of people! If we can dream it, we can build it. Bring your curiosity!

Performing arts

A black box studio celebrating voice, movement, and storytelling. Be inspired by live performances. Sign up for courses in theatre, dance, and music. Or start up a community choir!

This space is ideal for a variety of events for up to 200 people that bring people together. Local theatre companies can also use this space to rehearse productions or develop new shows.

Regardless of your previous experience, sign up for a class today. We are proud to partner with The Urban Woodworker—an established Metro Vancouver leader in community-based woodworking education. Sign up for courses today on our registration page.

The Urban Woodworker currently offers programs in North Vancouver (Lower Lonsdale) and with the City of Vancouver (Roundhouse Community Centre Craft & Textile Arts). Learn more about our partner The Urban Woodworker.
