Homes and Habitats: Exploring Nature and Ecology through Art
Grades K−7
This unit of study considers how artists use their practice to explore nature and ecology. Art and science connect as students learn about habitats by sculpting a world for living things and engaging how contemporary art can raise questions of stewardship and sustainability.

Registration
Programs at the Gallery run from October 11, 2022 to June 2, 2023.
Registration is required though Surrey Art Gallery or City of Surrey Call Centre. Once registration is completed, the pre-recorded workshop can be taught anytime based on teacher’s schedule. Material pick-up time is arranged separately.

Payments and Cancellations
Payment: The City of Surrey will invoice your school directly in the first week of the month your program is scheduled. For inquiries regarding invoicing or payment, email prccustomerservice@surrey.ca.
Cancellations require a minimum of three weeks’ notice. After this time, the program is non-refundable. Exceptions will be made in the event of school closure.
