Waves

Everybody loves a day at the beach! Step into the magical story time tent for an enchanting seaside tale in an underwater world of make believe. Warm on a winter’s day in January and soothing like a favourite lullaby, this quiet and peaceful performance will capture the imaginations of your little ones with calm music, gentle light and charming low-tech visuals.

A Family Day Celebration with Tricoter

Drop in and share Family Day with us! Join us for a fun afternoon of storytelling with Surrey Libraries, yarn crafting workshops, and a special performance of Tricoter by Foolish Operations. Experience this unique performance that that combines movement, music, and loads of yarn to connect generations and cultures. Through knitting, dance, live music and storytelling participants of all ages from babies to seniors are invited to discover and explore alongside community mentors and artists.

A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings

What to do about an angel who has fallen to earth? This thrilling piece of theatrical magic for young audiences and adults is adapted from the short story of the same name by Gabriel García Márquez. With gripping music, charming puppetry, live video projection, and a bunch of belly laughs, this fable leaps to life in all its wonderful weirdness and heartfelt emotion. If you loved our presentation of The Bookbinder in 2019, we’re sure you’ll enjoy The Old Man with Enormous Wings.
