Programs for Children

We have packed the wonder of the museum into every kids’ program. It's pure fun with songs, games and crafts with parents for museum tots aged 3-5. Kids aged 5+ can choose from a roster of programs, including prehistoric Spring Break and pro-d day camps and even a Dino-Snore Slumber Party at the museum.  Register online.

Programs for Adults

Gone are the days when you need to venture downtown for a night out or to try something different. How about an after hours Sketching Dinosaurs session or Yoga in the Morning followed by a before hours tour of the museum? Or maybe join a historian for a video tour of Whalley Before Skyscrapers? The choice is yours. Register online.

Textile Arts for All Ages

Calling both experienced makers and aspiring creators. The Textile Centre located in the museum teaches weaving, rug hooking, knitting, batik and countless other textile arts both old and new. Register online.

Reminisce Kits for 55+

Available to care facilities and senior groups. Museum staff deliver the programs and encourage lively discussions and trigger fond memories through five nostalgic themes. Find out more at 604-592-6956 or museum@surrey.ca.

Birthday Parties

Choose one of four themes and tour the museum with your friends after your party. Who else at school will have dinosaurs on the guest list? Dinosaur themed parties will run until the end of March and will then be replaced by Lego themed parties to match the feature exhibit beginning in May.

We are currently booking parties February and March. Book your weekend party at 604-592-6956 or museum@surrey.ca.
