Park Information
This future 2.2 hectare (5.5 acre) neighbourhood park will be located at 72 Avenue and 191 Street, along the Hazelgrove Greenway. It will be split between the West Clayton and East Clayton Neighbourhood Concept Plan (NCP) areas. The park design will include pathways, gathering spaces, a playground with natural wood elements, open grass areas, and a community garden. Find more information about community gardens and other locations to explore. We expect to complete construction in Spring 2024.
Park Planning Phase
The City of Surrey has completed the initial planning phase for Salmonberry Park in Clayton Heights.
1,200 residents took part in an online survey from February to March 2021 to help guide the planning and amenities for Salmonberry Park. This feedback helped us develop a vision, selection of amenities, and concept plan for the park.

The concept was endorsed by the Parks, Recreation & Culture Committee (PRCC) in November 2021. Detailed design of the park is now underway.
Detail Design Phase
The Parks Division has completed the detailed design for Salmonberry Park based on previous feedback provided by the public and the concept plan developed in the planning phase.
