North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex

North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex has reopened for weight room reservations and user groups in the arena. 

Most Parks, Recreation & Culture facilities have reopened. Low intensity group fitness classes will be suspended as of March 30, 2021.

Masks are required to be worn at all times during exercise with no exceptions. This is to ensure that patrons remain safe while exercising in City of Surrey fitness centres and gymnasiums. Anyone with a mask exemption is encouraged to exercise outside at this time.

North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex is located in North Surrey's diverse and growing community. With our commitment to building healthy communities, we aim to provide a variety of hockey and skating programs and large sporting events.

Facility Update

North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex is now open for user groups with approved Return to Sport plans in place. Review the Arena Guidelines for Minor Sport.

Weight Room

The weight room is now open by appointment only. To allow more people to participate, we respectfully ask that you limit yourself to one booking per day.

Facility Location

The facility is located on 126A Street, off of 110 Avenue. This new address is not yet registering with external mapping applications, which we are working on getting updated. 

For Everyone's Safety

  • Participants who are sick will not be allowed entry. 
  • Reduced capacity inside facility. 
  • Enhanced cleaning throughout facility. 
  • Participants must arrive fully dressed with the exception of skates/helmets. 
  • Participants to be allowed entry 10 minutes prior to ice time. 
  • Answer verbal health screening and hand sanitization upon entry. 
  • Maintain physical distancing at all times both on and off the ice. 
  • Maximum 10 people per dressing room. 
  • Showers within dressing rooms remain closed. 
  • Washroom access within lobby will be open. 
  • Water fountains closed. Participants to bring filled water bottle. 
  • Food Service closed.

The following accessibility features are at North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex:

  • Plexi puck boards at the player’s benches and penalty boxes
  • All three sheets of ice are para-ice hockey ready
  • Removable player’s benches
  • Six sleds for loan
  • Ice can be made 100% level access
  • Additional bench width for player’s change rooms

Our 5,600 square feet weight room is accessible, and equipped with Wi-Fi and has:

  • 28 pieces of cardio equipment including spin bikes, ellipticals and treadmills
  • 12 pieces of strength training equipment including a Synrgy 180, weight machines and 3 squat racks
  • Dumbbells up to 75 pounds

The following accessible equipment is in North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex's weight room:

  • Cybex Selectorize equipment including leg press, shoulder press, chest press, chest fly, row/rear det and lat pull
  • Ski Erg
  • SciFit (Arm Bike)
  • Progression fitness medicine balls (medicine balls with straps)
  • Active Hands, weight-lifting hooks, loop resistance bands & wrist/ankle weights
  • Raised stretching mat
  • Rope pull
  • Dual Cable Cross machine
