Lines That Open

Surrey Art Gallery commissioned KPU faculty member Dr. Dale Tracy to write a series of poems in response to the Winter 2023 exhibition Through the Lattice. The chapbook includes a brief introduction by Assistant Curator Rhys Edwards, and three poems for each of the seven artists in the exhibition: Alex Morrison, Parvin Peivandi, Lyla Rye, Edra Soto, Tiffany Shaw, Robert Young, and David Umemoto. Tracy’s delicate words and poignant observation capture subtle aspects of many of the works on display.
